I've seen many complaints of plugging the Blue Yeti mic only to have no playback sound. This walks you through the fix. This can happen everytime you unplug. How old is your Yeti? I’ve been having a back and forth with Blue Mic support for the last 6-8 months because mine isn’t detected either. Recently tried the latest version of Sherpa and still no difference. Seeing as it’s never worked I assume I’m not missing anything. Blue Yeti mic not working Win10 I have upgraded from Win8.1 to Win10, and am having audio issues. At first, my Blue Yeti mic worked perfectly fine, however audio would cut out after a time, and if i was using a voice chat program (mumble, teamspeak) the audio would get stuck in a loop as if someone in the channel was playing a lopped syllable.

About a month ago, I had to unplug my PC to setup a new desk area. I've tested my blue yeti with skype and it shows it is working. My mic is not selected in any other settings on my PC, but for some reason there appears to be no sound (the sound bars aren't moving) picked up for my mic. I've run out of options after uninstalling (saved my user settings) and reinstalled.

I figured it out. It was muted for some reason in the properties for my mic.
If anyone else is having this issue, go into Recording Devices. Select your mic of choice and right click for properties. Check levels and make sure the sound is on. http://screencast.com/t/MgpYcEGj
