For your BW-16D1HT, you may as well use Mike's 3.10-MK as apparently the sleep bug is fixed and it is just as quick as the WH16NS60 1.00 firmware. When i personally tested 3.10 on my ns 60 it still had the sleepbug might be different on an actual asus not sure. Windows 10 acknowledges the presence of the burner. So i caught this LG Blu-Ray combo drive on sale on Amazon and so i bought it and installed it, works great. LG WH14NS40 16X Blu-ray BDXL DVD CD Internal Burner Drive Bundle with Free Nero Burning Software + SATA Cable + Mounting Screws.

Installed the drive, went throught the 'delete Atapi' dance, verified current firmware. Drive is only recognized as 'CD-ROM'. Plays CD, DVD and Bluray but will not recognized as burner at all.
Suggestions?

    Found issue. Bluray player application had tagged drive as read-only. Set Windows Explorer as default app and everything works now.
